Did you know Waverly House has provided well over $100,000 to charitable causes around Springfield?

Studio 55 Arts Guild Program at 1 p.m. on Wednesday,

April 10, 2024

In April, we meet at the Springfield Art Museum

Address: 1111 E Brookside Drive, Springfield

Program by Kate Francis

Kate Francis, Museum Affairs Officer for Fundraising and Development, will provide an update on the Museum's 2028 Campaign for expansion and renovation. She'll show new renderings and animations of the proposed Museum renovations. Kate will also review the Museum's construction timeline, the need for closure, and the activities Museum staff will host throughout the community while the main facility is closed to the public. Kate will also take questions and, if time allows, lead a tour of the Museum to talk about the challenges of the current building and the solutions the new construction offers. Attendees are invited to stay and browse the exhibitions currently on view including the 92nd All School Exhibition, Ancient Artifacts Abroad, and three (3) exhibitions featuring selected works from the Museum's outstanding permanent collection. Studio 55 members should meet in the community room at the Art Museum.

Because we are having our meeting at the Art Museum, we won't have our usual space for sharing members' art.  Please bring your art to our May meeting, which will be back at our usual location.
