Fresh Gallery recently announced its "refresh." The following quoted information is from a recent news release. The photo is from the November program when Jennifer Hyde and FrankQue Graham officially announced the transition.
"The SRAC program, Fresh Gallery, an art collaborative, is transitioning to a commercial gallery to continue their success showcasing the incredible talent in the art community of SWMO. Fresh Gallery will be Curated going forward by Jennifer Hyde and FrankQue Graham."

Gailey's Breakfast Cafe
As part of December's First Friday Art Walk, Gailey's is hosting a reception to honor all of the participating artists and their creativity during their "Under $150" seasonal exhibit. On Friday, December 6, stop by for desert, champagne, and live music. Among the many featured artists are Studio 55 members Jenny Green and Carol Snyder.
Larry Owen
Studio 55 member Larry Owen shared with us that he traveled Switzerland in September and that it was "beautiful, gorgeous, inspiring." He included these photos of his creations, The Matterhorn in Zermatt and Lauterbrunnen Valley in the Jungfrau region south of Interlaken.

November Meeting
It's not often we have live music at a meeting, but Studio 55 member Juanita Lee along with Kenny Key sang for us and talked about the art of songwriting at our November 13 meeting. What a wonderful way to celebrate inside and away from the cold weather. Thank you Tracy Bruton for the photos of our meeting.
Mindy Tillery
Studio 55 member Mindy Tillery will be exhibiting a series titled "Life Is But A Dream" at the Park Central Library during the month of December. The series consists of 40 mixed media pieces including 11 scrolls and 29 panels and framed works. There is a reception on First Friday, December 6, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Mindy also has new art in December at Fresh Gallery and Formed Gallery. The accompanying photo is one of Mindy's latest series of scrolls.

Join us on December 11 for a presentation by artist Cindy Kopenhafer.
Here are Cindy's statement and introduction: "I work in several mediums and will be discussing my personal art journey. Topics I will be also covering are working with a mentor, exploring and learning about your mediums and marketing. Sharing and interacting with other artists to me always boosts the energy and creative levels.
I am a member of several professional art organizations such as American Women Artists, American Artists Professionals League, Pastel and Portrait Societies, Watercolor Honor Society and Pastel Artists of America.
I have participated in several juried shows throughout the United States and London, England. I recently was published in an International Drawing publication. Received third place in Realism on the Hudson in Beacon, NY shown at Salmagundi Art Club in NYC, Watercolor Honor Society exhibitions, Watercolor USA 4 years, Art and Science of Botanical Illustration in Forge, NY."
Sky Gallery
At the end of November, Sky Gallery at the Springfield-Branson National Airport with the support of the Springfield Regional Arts Council put up an exhibit of artistic works by members of Studio 55. The exhibit is the "Studio 55 Arts Guild Showcase." The exhibit remains at Sky Gallery through February. Participating artists include: Meike Aton, Kenneth Burstin, Anthony Davis, Joanna Fazzino Davis, Nancy Dornan, Judy Ferguson, June Grigg, Jennifer Green, LaDonna Greiner, Jerri Loveland, Dawna Middleton, Roberto Regalado, Emmie Seaman, Carol Meyer Siano, Linda Spencer, Doug Steere, Gary Tebbenkamp, and Julie Zaslow..

$100 and Under Holiday Art Market
At Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts, come and shop during the Springfield Regional Arts Council's $100 and Under Holiday Art Market, December 6 from 5 to 8 p.m..

This has been a busy year for Studio 55 exhibitions, with art currently on view at the Mudlounge (321 E. Walnut), Bambinos (on Battlefield and Lone Pine), the Walnut Street Inn, Sky Gallery at the Springfield-Branson National Airport, and the Elliott Robinson CPA firm (September through December, 2024). The schedule for 2025 Studio 55 member exhibitions is being created and will be announced in the coming months.
Ongoing exhibits: Ongoing exhibits featuring Studio 55 members include Bambinos Restaurant (2810 Battlefield Road and Lone Pine, Springfield) and the Walnut Street Inn (900 E. Walnut, Springfield). "Neverthless, She Persisted"
Studio 55 member Dana Neunschwander shares an opportunity to participate in a juried show, "Nevertheless, She Persisted," which will be in Obelisk Gallery's lower gallery in March of 2025. In addition to having three paintings in the Studio 55 Arts Guild Showcase at the Sky Gallery (see above), Judy Ferguson also informs us that she has a painting on display at Waverly Gallery.

Gailey’s Breakfast Café:
Gailey's Breakfast Cafe, 220 E. Walnut Street, in Springfield, invites artists to exhibit whether they have one piece or 10 pieces of artwork.10% of the sales goes directly to the wait staff. This is the only fee.

Art of the Ozarks: Fine Art Fair
On November 15-16, several artists participated in "Art of the Ozarks: Fine Art Fair," hosted by "Formed: An Artist Collective." This was the second year of the Fair, and this year it was at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Among the many participating artists were the following Studio 55 members: Andi Snethern, Tiffany Collins, Teresa Fry, Linda May, Steve McGuire, and Dana Neuenschwander.
Ann Gunion, Ann Kynion, and Doug Steere served as judges for the event. Among the winners was Studio 55 member Dana Neuenschwander, who won Best 2D Artist. Thank you to Tracy Bruton and Art of the Ozarks for the photos which were posted on Facebook.
Barbara Vicente
Barbara Vicente will be selling her handwoven baskets at Nixa PTO Craft Show on Saturday, December 7th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The location of the show is the Nixa Junior High School, 205 North Street, Nixa. Barbara will be in the "green" gym.
Meike Aton
On Thursday, December 5, from 3 to 6 p.m., "enjoy German Christmas goodies and glühwein, conversation, music, and art. Find that special gift."
The Christmas Open House will be at Meike Aton Art Studio & Gallery, 1200 E. Woodhurst Dr., K-300, in Springfield.
LaDonna Greiner
In addition to participating at the $100 and Under Holiday Arts Market (see above), Studio 55 member LaDonna Greiner will also be participating at the Spiva Center for the Arts "Holiday Makers Market" in Joplin on December 7 from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Her fine art photography is on display at the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Sky Gallery & Winde Aesthetics in Chesterfield. LaDonna is also showing art at Lucid TLC in Nixa, Missouri Life Mercantile in Rocheport, and Columbia Art League in Columbia.
LaDonna shared with us three photos, including a photo from the recent Members Show at the Creamery Arts Center with Ursula Wollenberg, a photo with Tiffany Collins and Linda May at Lucid TLC's 2-year anniversary celebration, and a photo with an art display at Lucid TLC Arts in Nixa.
Donna Lynn Clark
Studio 55 member Donna Lynn Clark recently shared some photos of her art that is now included in the show at Bambinos Italian Cafe. She describes herself as "primarily . . . a Colored Pencil Painter, [but] she also has completed equally as many Graphite pieces. When taking a break from her pencils she enjoys painting with Acrylics and will tend to lean toward a more abstract interpretation."
