According to her bio, her creative process "always begins with the exploration and experimentation of layering various pigments while working with encaustics (beeswax + tree resin ) by building up the surface as well as excavating the layers to achieve a multi-dimensional visual experience. Her abstracted figurative integrations come from her curious fascination with beauty, flora, fauna, fashion, sacred geometry and astronomy as well as profound truths discovered in poetry, including music, dance, meditation, philosophy and prayer."
Mindy encourages Studio 55 members to check out the information on Fresh Gallery's website where Fresh is accepting applications for new artist members. You can find information that here.

Jason is a self-taught sign painter with over 35 years of experience. He says he is fascinated "with bright, bold colors, especially fluorescent ones. I love curves, stripes, polka dots, letters, and symbols." Currently, he paints mainly with acrylic on canvas and occasionally adds sign painting enamel because he likes the "flow." "Through color and well-balanced design, I strive to bring feelings of joy, happiness, and optimism into people’s lives.
