Our speaker for our April meeting at the Springfield Art Museum was Kate Francis, Museum Affairs Officer for Fundraising and Development. She provided a detailed update on the Museum's 2028 Campaign for expansion and renovation, showed new renderings and animations of the proposed renovations, and reviewed the construction timeline and the need for closure. Kate also took Studio 55 members on a tour of the Museum to talk about the challenges of the current building and the solutions the new construction offers. Thank you so much Kate for the information and renderings of the upcoming changes.
Here are some photos from the April meeting. Thank you Tracy Bruton for the photos.
