Formed Gallery


Studio 55 member Alicia Farris will be presenting various new art, "Moods & Melodies," as the featured artist at Formed Gallery, 210 E. Walnut St., Springfield, on Friday, November 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. Alicia will share new works that celebrate places she loves and things that bring music to her heart. Also included, Alicia‘s Santa cards and prints. There will be refreshments and live music during this First Friday Artwalk event.

Art of the Ozarks: Fine Art Fair


"Art of the Ozarks: Fine Art Fair" is a celebration of creativity and community hosted by Formed: An Artist Collective. This is the second year of the Fair, and this year it will be at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds on November 15-16, 2024. Laughingwell Studio


Laughingwell Studio is proud to announce that for the third year, Studio 55 members Linda Spencer and Roberto Regalado are artists in residence at Lebanon High School. This year’s subject is Laclede County, its citizens, unique business and history, the city of Lebanon and its surrounding towns. 
The students painted the tiles that will surround the mural when installed at Realty Executives in downtown. 
When the “Pocket Park” next to the School District Headquarters on Commercial Street is finished, the mural will be moved to its permanent location.

Roberto Regalado also spent an afternoon lettering the store name for Pretty Please Boutique in Lake of the Ozarks.  A photo accompanies this text. 

Ursula Wollenberg


Studio 55 member Ursula Wollenberg was excited to see her watercolor collages, "A Watercolor Montage," featured in the recent edition of Somerset Studio Magazine.  Congratulations!

Waverly House Gifts and Gallery


Studio 55 members are among those participating in the art show and fundraiser, "Local Color," on Friday, November 8 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Waverly House Gifts and Gallery, 2031 S. Waverly Ave., Springfield.  Our participating members include Judy Ferguson, Steve McGuire, and Emmie Seaman. You can learn more by visiting the Facebook Event page here.

Tea Bar & Bites


Tea Bar & Bites, at 621 S. Pickwick, Springfield, features the art of Studio 55 member Linda Kirchner. Stop by on Friday, November 8 from 4-6 p.m. for the artist reception.

The Creamery Arts Center


Several Studio 55 members will have their art at the "Annual Members' Show" at the Creamery Arts Center, 411 N. Sherman Pkwy, Springfield, in the event hosted by the Springfield Regional Arts Council and sponsored by Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. The First Friday Artwalk event is from 5-7 p.m. on November 1.

C-Art Art Market on Historic Commercial Street


Studio 55 members Kathleen Day, Teresa Fry, and Dawna Middleton were among the artists participating in C-Art Art Market on Historic Commercial Street in Springfield on October 6, 2024.

If you are interested in selling your art at Bambinos, contact Sandra Letson (417-496-1838). There are no fees to exhibit and artists receive all the money when their art is sold. Check out their business hours and see their menu of delicious food for eat-in and carry-out or to have them cater your next event: Bambinos.

Gailey’s Breakfast Café:

Gailey's Breakfast Cafe, 220 E. Walnut Street, in Springfield, invites artists to exhibit whether they have one piece or 10 pieces of artwork.10% of the sales goes directly to the wait staff. This is the only fee.

"Neverthless, She Persisted"


Studio 55 member Dana Neunschwander shares an opportunity to participate in a juried show, "Nevertheless, She Persisted," which will be in Obelisk Gallery's lower gallery in March of 2025. Lucid TLC Arts


On Saturday, November 2, Lucid TLC Arts will have an art exhibition (and birthday celebration) for Studio 55 member Tiffany Collins, who is the featured artist. Lucid TLC Arts recently celebrated two years of business,  and it will be open on November 2 from 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with music starting at 6 p.m.  It is located at 111 S. Main St., Nixa.

Temple Israel ArtFest


Studio 55 members Barbara Vicente and Kathleen Day are participating in the Temple Israel ArtFest on Sunday, November 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at  5910 S. Farm Rd 293 in Rogersville.

This has been a busy year for Studio 55 exhibitions, with art currently on view at the Mudlounge (321 E. Walnut), Bambinos (on Battlefield and Lone Pine), the Walnut Street Inn, and the Elliott Robinson CPA firm (September through December, 2024). The schedule for 2025 Studio 55 member exhibitions is being created and will be announced in the coming months.

Ongoing exhibits:  Ongoing exhibits featuring Studio 55 members include Bambinos Restaurant (2810 Battlefield Road and Lone Pine, Springfield) and the Walnut Street Inn (900 E. Walnut, Springfield). Featured artists for both locations are Rick Atwell, Tiffany Collins, Nancy Dornan, LaDonna Greiner, and Jane Troup. Congratulations to the artists who have recently sold art at these locations.

Sky Gallery, Springfield-Branson National Airport.  Studio 55 is invited to display art at Sky Gallery from December 2024-February 2025.  Art must be at least 36" on each side.  In September, an email was sent to members about this call for art. Email submissions due by November 9, 2024.

Rick Atwell


Studio 55 member Rick Atwell will be speaking at Drury University in the Olin Library , 900 N. Benton Ave., on Tuesday, November 19, at 2 p.m. He will be discussing “Memorabilia,” 56 years in Show Business. His website is here.

Park Central Library


Studio 55 member Andi Snethern is the featured artist for November at the Park Central Library, 128 Park Central Square, Springfield.  The opening reception is a First Friday Art Walk event on November 1, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Nancy Brown Dornan


Studio 55 member Nancy Brown Dornan was a featured artist at Fresh Gallery in October and currently has work at Formed Gallery, Fresh Gallery, DB Design, the MudLounge, Bambinos, and Sky Gallery at the Springfield-Branson National Airport.  "Thanks to these businesses that open their walls to local artists."

Studio 55 Arts Guild Program

Program by Juanita Lee

Join us on November 13 for a presentation by musician and Studio 55 member Juanita Lee.


Juanita will talk about "The Art of Music -- Songwriting." She often performs duets with Kenny Key, and they will be performing during our meeting.  Juanita encourages Studio 55 members to bring their art to display during the meeting, and especially to bring art related to music in any way.


Juanita and Kenny will also be performing Duets, Sunday, Nov 3, 2024 at 2 p.m.
at the Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway, in Springfield.
